With the Pentair LineGuard UF-100, you can produce drinking water from glacier, lake, or stream water. In addition to the two ultrafiltration modules, the system developed by Vuna features three pre-filters with sediment cartridges that trap solids and thus protect the filter from clogging, even with turbid water. If the filter is not used during the colder months (e.g., because the mountain hut is unattended), it can be stored with the Vuna hibernation kit.

The innovative drinking water treatment with UV-C LED: significantly lower power consumption, no harmful chemicals, and no hazardous waste. The PearlAqua Deca from AquiSense is a UV-C disinfection system that can be installed directly at a household's water supply. Disinfection occurs without harmful chemicals and leaves no chlorine taste. Because the UV-C LED lamp is only switched on when water is flowing through it, the system saves energy.

UV disinfection requires water that is free of turbidity and suspended solids. Vuna will be happy to assist you in planning the appropriate pre-filtration and UV filter size. The PearlAqua Deca is available in two sizes: Deca 24C4 and Deca 30C.
