About us
At Vuna, we develop decentralized and circular sanitation systems for remote holiday homes and tiny houses, we plan drinking water and wastewater treatment systems for mountain huts, and we generate innovative solutions for circular water management in urban areas. From total wastewater treatment to greywater recycling and rainwater reuse, Vuna has already implemented several (waste)water systems. We also offer nutrient recycling: with the recycled fertilizer Aurin, on the one hand, and with fecal composting, on the other. In the latter, excrements are converted into humus through worm composting, which can be used as a nutrient-rich soil improver. The product range is complemented by drinking water treatment systems that ensure drinking water quality.

We are an approved laboratory for sample analyses for small wastewater treatment plants (KLARA).

Officially approved as a fertilizer by the Federal Office for Agriculture (→Product register). After an intensive testing phase that began in 2015, Aurin received final approval in 2018.
